The quality requirements during the construction of the rock bolt mainly include the following five points:

1.      The material, type, quality, specification, quantity and performance of the rock bolt must meet the requirements of the design and specifications.

2.      The length of the bolt insertion hole shall not be shorter than 95% of the design length.

3.      The grouting strength of the combined anchor is not less than the design and specification requirements, and the grouting in the bolt hole is dense and full.

4.      The anchor pad should meet the design requirements, the pad should be close to the surrounding rock, and the surrouding rock should be filled with M10 mortar.

5.      The anchor should be laid perpendicular to the excavation contour.

As a tensile member deep into the stratum, the anchor is connected to the engineering structure at one end and deep into the stratum at the other end, the whole anchor is divided into a free section and an anchoring section, in the free section, the pulling force at the bolt head is transmitted to the anchoring area, and its function is to apply prestress to the anchor; the anchoring section refers to the area where the cement paste bonds the prestressing tendon to the soil layer, it function is to increase the bonding friction between the anchor and the soil layer, increase the bearing pressure of the anchor, and transmit the tensile force of the free segment to the depth of the soil.
