Mining cable bolts and anchors are two different types of support tools. There is no essential difference between the means of support using these two tools, but because the tension media of the mining cable bolts and the anchors are different, they are only in "quantity", which has a difference. Mining cable bolts can usually be used in large-tonnage anchoring projects. Its tensile members are made of mining steel strands, and anchor are high-strength precision-rolled rebar as the main steel.

Pay attention to the following when using the mining cable bolts:

1. The installation pre-tightening force shall not be less than 90kN. The row spacing between mining cable bolts must meet the design requirements, with an error not exceeding ± 100mm; the allowable deviation of the installation angle of the anchor cables is ± 5 °; the exposed part of the anchor cables does not exceed 300mm;

2. During installation, install a special stirring driver at the lower end, and use an mining cable bolt to slowly send the anchoring agent into the hole (be careful not to repeatedly pull the anchor cable) to ensure that all the anchoring agent is sent to the bottom of the hole.

3. Insert the tail of the special stirring driver into the anchor machine, one person holding the nose and one person operating the anchor machine, stirring while advancing, the stirring time is controlled within 40-50 seconds. Do not pause during the process and do not stir repeatedly.

4. After stopping the stirring, continue to maintain the thrust of the anchor machine for about 3 minutes, then retract the anchor machine and remove the next anchor hole. After 30 minutes, first remove the special mixing drive, install the joists, trays, and locks, and support them to the position close to the channel steel.

Improper use of mining cable bolts will cause a lot of hidden safety hazards, so the precautions during construction must not be ignored.
