The composition of the rock bolt
Several factors must be met to form an anchor bolt:
1. A rod with higher tensile strength than rock and soil.

3. The other end of the rod outside the rock and soil can form a radial resistance to the rock and soil.
Principle of action: The anchor bolt is a tension member deep into the ground. One end is connected with the engineering structure, and the other end is deep into the ground. The free section refers to the area that transmits the tensile force at the bolt head to the anchor solid, and its function is to prestress the bolt. The anchorage section refers to the area where the cement paste bonds the prestressed tendons and the soil layer. Its function is to increase the bonding friction between the anchor solid and the soil layer, increase the pressure-bearing effect of the anchor solid, and transfer the tensile force of the free section. The role of anchor bolt: Anchor rod is a rod system structure for reinforcement of rock and soil. Through the longitudinal pulling force of the anchor rod body, the shortcoming of the rock and soil body's tensile capacity is far lower than the compressive capacity can be overcome. On the surface, it restricts the separation of the rock and soil from the original body. Macroscopically, it increases the cohesion of rock and soil. From a mechanical point of view, it mainly improves the cohesion C and the internal friction angle ? of the surrounding rock mass.
