The flanges of the first two I-beams are thin on the outside and thick inside, while the flanges of the H-row I-beam are the same thickness inside and outside. Due to the differences in the specifications of these three types of I-beams, there are also certain differences in performance, so the specific uses of the three are also different in engineering construction. When choosing I-beams, you should not make random choices, and you should choose the right types and specifications of steel beams strictly in accordance with the requirements of the design drawings.

Through the introduction of mine I beam, we can easily understand that I-beam is a commonly used steel, which is used much in the field of machinery, and is sometimes used in the field of construction. The service life of I-beam mainly depends on the following points:

1. The environment of use, such as in plateau areas or coastal areas, if it is used in an environment close to the sea, the life span may be oxidized by the sea water, and the life span is not that long.

2. Whether it is sealed or not, if it is sealed with cement in the construction field, its service life will be very long.
