Henan ZongXiang Heavy Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the export of a large batch of premium PM24 Swellex rock bolts to a major mining project in Chile, further strengthening its position as a trusted global supplier of ground support solutions for the mining and tunneling industries.

The shipment, containing several thousand units of the internationally recognized PM24 Swellex inflatable rock bolts manufactured under license from Epiroc (formerly Atlas Copco), departed from Qingdao Port and is scheduled to arrive at the Port of Antofagasta within the coming weeks. This order marks one of the largest single deliveries of Swellex bolts from a Chinese licensee to the South American market in 2025.

Swellex PM24 rock bolts are widely regarded as the industry standard for rapid and reliable ground reinforcement in hard rock conditions. The patented inflatable design allows the bolt to conform perfectly to irregular borehole profiles through high-pressure water inflation, providing immediate full-column support and exceptional load-bearing capacity. The PM24 line is particularly suited for the demanding geological conditions found in Chilean copper and gold mines, where high stress, seismic activity, and fractured rock masses are common challenges.

The Chilean client, a leading operator in the Andean copper belt, selected ZongXiang’s PM24 Swellex bolts after rigorous testing and comparison with competing products. Key factors influencing the decision included consistent manufacturing quality meeting ISO 9001 and Epiroc original standards, competitive pricing, short lead times, and ZongXiang’s proven track record of reliable international deliveries.

Each PM24 Swellex bolt in this batch is made from high-strength steel with a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa and features the distinctive yellow identification ring. The bolts were supplied in standard 3.0–6.0 meter lengths with both standard and minimized water-loss (ML) versions to suit different installation preferences and ground conditions. All units passed 100% pressure testing at 300 bar before packaging, ensuring zero defects upon arrival.
