Split Set is a new type of anchor with full length anchoring and active reinforcement of surrounding rock. In actual use, the anchor plate of the split set has a significant effect on the force distribution of the full-length anchor. When there is no pallet, the axial force of the split set is zero at the surface of the roadway, reaching a large value at a certain depth, and the shear force is zero at the place where the axial force is larger. When there has the anchor plate, due to the pretension force and the surrounding rock passing through the anchor plate, the force acting on the rock bolt body makes the anchor shaft force reach a certain value at the surface of the roadway, and moves the position where the anchor shaft force is larger toward the opening, closer to the roadway surface.

Anchor plate is an important component of split set, and it has a great influence on the role of anchor support. The role of the anchor plate has two main aspects: First, by applying a certain torque to the nut, the anchor plate is pressed against the surface of the roadway to provide pre-tensioning force to the anchor rod, and the pre-tensioning force is diffused into the coal rock body around the anchor rod, thereby improve the stress state of surrounding rocks, restrain the separation of surrounding rocks, the sliding of structural planes and the expansion of joint fissures, and realize the active and timely support of anchor bolts. To the anchor rod body, increase the working resistance of the anchor rod, and give full play to the role of the anchor rod to control the surrounding rock deformation.

In general, the mechanical properties of the anchor plate should be matched with the performance of the split set body in order to give full play to the anchoring role of the anchor rod. Insufficient anchor plate strength, poor installation quality, and large eccentric load will significantly reduce the role of split sets. In the support of coal mine roadways, we must use anchor plate reasonably to improve the support effect of split sets.
