Mine steel arch is a common profile in the mining industry and coal support field at present. This type of steel is named because its cross section is similar to the word "I".
Mine steel arches are mainly used in mine tunnels, secondary support of mine tunnels, and support of mountain tunnels. They have the advantages of high pressure, long support time, easy installation and deformation.
Features of mine steel arches:
1. The slope of the outer edge must not be greater than 2.4% of the leg width;
2. The bending deflection should not be greater than 1.0mm;
3. The eccentricity should not be greater than 2% of the leg width;
4. The bending degree per meter shall not be greater than 3mm, and the total bending degree shall not be greater than 0.3%.
The common materials of mine steel arches are Q235 ordinary carbon and 20Mnk. In practical applications, 20Mnk is the first choice for strata with more water accumulation in the mine underground and in moist environments. For ordinary shallow ground support, Q235 is the mainstream in dry conditions. Most of these materials will be processed into modular brackets. A typical cross beam is equipped with two support legs. Bends rarely occur in actual processing. If you encounter bending, you can also consider using I-beam materials. Compared with the I-beam for mining, the section of the I-beam is slightly different from the position where the bottom surface contacts the waist.
